Power-Assisted Micro-Manipulation

Contact Us Power Assited Micro-Manipulation (PAM) was developed by Robert Taylor, who with no medical background, was able to look objectively at the problem of back pain without any preconceived ideas.

After years of research he decided that mechanical low back pain was the result of inflexibility within the spine and that this causes pressure to form in certain areas of the spine. This leads to compression of the disc.

Robert Taylor applying the Power Assisted Micro-Manipulator to a patient. PAM was developed firstly to reduce spasm, secondly to help realign the spine and thirdly to mobilise the spinal joints in a unique way, approximately 25 times faster than the human hand.

Treatment with PAM is quite pleasant, with a feeling of well-being, many clients stating that they feel taller and are able to move more easily. The number of visits depends on individual response and the length of time the patient has suffered from back pain.

The Buckingham Clinic has specialised in the treatment of back pain for over 60 years, building up enormous experience in dealing with such conditions.

Using PAM technology, we have found that patients who have suffered idiopathic back pain for some 30 years have responded exceptionally well using PAM. In some cases their pain has disappeared completely.
